Steamboat Balloon Festival This Weekend!

You still have time to get to Steamboat for the Hot Air Balloon Rodeo and Rainbow weekend also featuring Art in the Park. Balloon inflation begins around 6am and the rodeo portion takes place from 6:30-9:30. It is located approximately 9/10 of a mile south of Walton Creek Rd on Highway 40 or better known as Bald Eagle Lake. There is no public parking at the event but free transportation is provided from the Meadows Parking lot on Pine Grove Rd and Mt. Werner. Better yet, hop on your bikes or walk to the event!

Balloon Glow – On July 13th, the balloons will be up on the mountain! See the balloon light up beginning at 8:30 and walk around the mountain village Promenade. Shop, dine or just hang out and enjoy the beauty of the glowing balloons.

Also, this weekend is Art in the Park where over one hundred-forty artist and culinary vendors showcasing a variety of work. Just West of downtown and alongside the Yampa River. Fun for the entire family!
